Emory University Hospital Midtown
Emory Midtown is a 583-bed acute care teaching facility located in downtown Atlanta. Emory University Hospital Midtown has more than 1,200 Emory Clinics and 440 private practice physicians spanning 28 specialties. The hospital offers a full range of services which includes cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, oncology, neurosciences, general and vascular surgery, internal medicine, urology, obstetrics and gynecology. There is a level III neonatal ICU.

Wesley Woods Geriatric Center is made up of facilities which serve geriatric patients who are in independent living, assisted living and nursing home levels of care. It includes a 100-bed specialty facility, an outpatient primary care clinic geared to geriatric patients, a 195-bed nursing care facility, a 201-unit residential retirement facility, and a 22 bed assisted living facility. Wesley Woods is well known for its care of depression, Alzheimer’s disease, movement disorders, and rehabilitation.

Emory Long-Term Acute Care Hospital
Emory Long-Term Acute Care Hospital specializes in the treatment of medically complex, catastrophically injured or critically ill patients who require a longer hospital stay than at a traditional acute care facility, and who require specialized, expert care and rehabilitation. Emory Long-Term Acute Care began in 1996 with 19 beds. Since then, we’ve grown to 40 beds, including a six-bed Special Care Unit (SCU). All rooms are private, ensuring that patients experience maximum comfort during their stay.

Emory University Orthopaedics and Spine Hospital opened its doors in 2008. It has one hundred and twenty licensed beds and eight ORs and is staffed by Emory faculty physicians who are full time members of the Emory Clinic and most have produced groundbreaking research and innovative treatments to reach the top of their fields. It has ranked in the top 10% of hospitals in the country for eleven years in patient satisfaction. It is a “Magnet” hospital, a designation earned by only six percent of U.S. hospitals for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
