Jokeda Nelson, MDiv

Rev. Jokeda Nelson currently works as the Pre-Op chaplain at Emory University Hospital Midtown. Jokeda is a licensed and ordained Baptist minister. She has a B.A. in Agricultural Economics from Alcorn State University, a M.S. in Agricultural Economics from The University of Arkansas and a M.Div from The Interdenominational Theological Center, Morehouse School of Religion. Jokeda dedicates her life to love, justice, and hope. She believes these essential characteristics have at one time another served as ones saving grace when facing the human dilemma. In addition to her position as a chaplain she serves as the Youth Minister at Midway Missionary Baptist Church.
