Wyatt Miles, BCC, CCSH-RC (he/him)
Wyatt Miles is a Board-Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) and a Compassion Centered Spiritual Health Registered Clinician. Wyatt serves as a Spiritual Health Clinician at Emory University Hospital where he provides companionship and compassionate support to patients, families, and staff members throughout the hospital, working particularly in transplant and critical care settings.
Wyatt began his chaplaincy journey during the Covid-19 pandemic in Lynchburg, VA, completing six units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Centra Health’s Lynchburg General Hospital. Central to his approach to spiritual care, Wyatt holds relationship as the most important location of healing. Through hospitality, acceptance, and compassion, Wyatt seeks to give patients and other care-seekers space to be fully themselves as they process life’s difficulties, setbacks, and celebrations.
Wyatt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN and a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in theology from Baylor University’s Truett Seminary in Waco, TX. He is an ordained Baptist minister endorsed to chaplaincy by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF). Before entering chaplaincy, Wyatt served as a Baptist pastor in Southside Virginia.
When not at work, Wyatt enjoys watching Survivor and spending time with his wife, family, and friends. Hobbies include running and video games.
