Rev. Jason Ranke, M.Div. (he/him) is a CCSH Fellow / Chaplain at Emory Wesley Woods. Jason earned his Master of Divinity degree from Mercer University's theology school while Alan Culpepper was still the dean. He completed clinical education in spiritual health at Emory Saint Joseph's and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. He affiliates with the Alliance of Baptists, an LGBTQ+ affirming and racial justice pursuing group of Baptists in the South, and he may also be found practicing meditation at one of the local Buddhist monasteries. Prior to arriving at Wesley Woods, he worked as a children's and youth minister and in stewardship/development at two churches in Atlanta. He is looking forward to being at Emory Wesley Woods and exploring the intersections of Behavioral Health and Spiritual Health.

Jason has been married to his husband Josh since 2018, and later this year they'll celebrate a total of 16 years of togetherness. Their family also includes their sweet and feisty pupper, Emma. Josh and Jason enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring the state parks, having driveway and backyard hangouts with friends, and binging shows on Netflix.
